Basic Pistol Training

The Basic Pistol training course is a beginners’ handgun shooting program where you will learn the basics of pistol shooting and perfect the foundation for mastering a handgun. This class is suitable for all levels of experience including the novice and those comfortable with a handgun. If you have never shot or held a handgun before, or if you want to improve your pistol shooting skills, you will find this course valuable.

You might be wondering, “What is this class all about? What will I learn?”

While we are well-versed in NRA standards and official instruction manuals, our training goes beyond the book. We customize each class to fit the needs of individual students. This means we don’t just read from a script—we adapt to how you learn best.

Many of our students have never fired a gun before. At our outdoor range, they’ve enjoyed a calm, stress-free day of exciting and effective learning—and so will you.

Then we run purpose-built drills to correct those issues and grow your skills into consistent, precision shooting.
