We are a trusted training provider for Alameda County residents who are looking to meet California’s concealed carry permit requirements with confidence and skill.

Our certified instructors deliver hands-on, real-world training that goes beyond the classroom—covering firearm safety, legal responsibilities, defensive shooting techniques, and practical application.

Alameda County CCW Training

Our students train alongside instructors both in the classroom and on the range, receiving detailed feedback on how to improve. Through targeted drills, instructors help sharpen skills and enhance precision shooting.

The Alameda County CCW training course is designed to equip law-abiding citizens with the skills, mindset, and legal knowledge necessary to responsibly carry a concealed firearm. Whether you’re new to concealed carry or a seasoned gun owner seeking your permit, this course meets the 16-hour training requirement set by the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office.

The following topics will be covered in the CCW class, but this is not a comprehensive list as we do our best to tailor the class topics to the needs of the given audience participants.

  • Laws concerning firearms possession, storage, etc.
  • Firearm safety rules
  • Fundamentals of shooting
  • Loading and unloading procedures
  • Clearing stoppages
  • Firearm and holster selection
  • Firearms qualification course

This is not a beginner’s class. Students must be comfortable handling and operating their firearm. Need help getting up to speed? Let us know—we’ll get you scheduled for a basic pistol course prior to the CCW training.
